TRUFFLES AND TRIFLES SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION FOR 2016
Calling all kids ages 7 to 13, for a week of mad-delicious and terrific, first-rate cooking! Kids will experience a world of hands-on culinary exploration with their peers and experienced Truffles and Trifles chef instructors. They’ll travel the great culinary scrumptious hot spots of Europe and the Americas and create a menu of delectable and fun dishes! We’ll cover fundamentals such as basic knife skills, how to read and follow a recipe, measuring and mixing, and the importance of kitchen safety. Along the way, kids will learn how to make great food that will impress their family and friends. Classes run FOUR hours each and last for five consecutive days. At the end of camp, each young chef will take home a packet of the recipes they made. If you have two children in a family attend, there will be a 5% credit for second child (must be in same family). The last day (Friday) parents will be invited to share their last meal to show all their learned talents. Each week covers a different country and each week in the summer is different from the other. No week is the same. We do adult type recipes with no kiddie food. Requirements: age 7 through 13 (must have finished first grade) No flip flops – must wear tennis shoes. If child has long hair, they must bring a hair tie.
All camps are $375.00 per week and each camp class is 10:30am-2:30 pm. TWO WEEK CANCELLATION POLICY — ABSOLUTELY FIRM.
